Jigawa State MSI visited HRH Emir of Dutse
JIGGSI & MSI Nigeria (Jigawa State) paid an advocacy visit to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Dutse Alhaji Hamim Nuhu Sunusi CFR, and part of HRH remarks, was that Girls, in particular, face unique challenges with regards to hygiene, especially during their menstrual cycle. It is crucial for them to have access to proper menstrual hygiene products and education on how to manage their periods hygienically. This will not only help them stay clean and healthy but also break the taboo surrounding menstruation. It is important for us to actively promote and support the Girl Child Hygiene and Menstrual Hygiene in a respectful and compassionate manner, ensuring that every girl has the right to proper hygiene and sanitation.Â
